Martinsville, Indiana

After a plan was established, INDOT budget cuts threatened to eliminate key access points planned along the corridor. The City was able to use HWC’s planning documents to demonstrate community support for the plan and justify their economic return on investment. As a result, all identified key local access points are now under construction. Additionally, the City was able to use HWC’s plan to secure nearly $15 million of additional funding for needed local road improvements supporting adjustments to community connectivity.
